Become a Maker Faire Volunteer!

The Seattle Mini Maker Faire offers tech enthusiasts, crafters, homesteaders, scientists, garage tinkerers, and commercial makers of all ages and backgrounds a platform to share their passion projects with the public. We cannot do this event without volunteers.

Volunteer duties include assisting with set-up, wayfinding, sticker checking, managing giveaways, ushering, answering questions, operating an info table, surveying attendees, and more.

There are many shift options during the Faire on August 18 and 19, as well as setup shifts on August 17. Maker Faire volunteers are required to attend a volunteer training on either August 12 or 14, and successfully complete a background check.
