Connecting guests with the world’s largest solar-powered tricycle, leading a crowd-sourced trivia game, assisting visitors navigate a Frank O. Gehry building, and being part of an awesome team of people that love all things maker—these are just some of the things our Maker Faire volunteers did last year. Their support throughout the busy weekend helped ensure our operations were seamless and guests got the most out of their Seattle Mini Maker Faire experience.
Like last year, we need volunteer support again. We have 80 shifts to fill, both behind-the-scenes and guest-facing, between September 16–18. Possible duties include: posting signage, greeting makers and directing them to their booth, minor set-up, assisting with select maker activities, wayfinding, sticker checking, managing giveaways, ushering, answering questions, operating an info table, and more!
Still not convinced? Volunteers will also get a Seattle Mini Maker Faire t-shirt and free admission to the entire weekend—all while being part of an amazing team!
Want to sign up? Email volunteers@EMPmuseum.org and we will be in touch about schedule openings and training.
We hope you join our team!
