The Seattle Mini Maker Faire offers tech enthusiasts, crafters, homesteaders, scientists, garage tinkerers, and commercial makers of all ages and backgrounds a platform to share their passion projects with the public. We cannot do this event without volunteers.
Volunteer duties include assisting with set-up, wayfinding, sticker checking, managing giveaways, ushering, answering questions, operating an info table, surveying attendees, and more.
There are many shift options during the Faire on September 16 and 17, as well as setup shifts on September 15. Maker Faire volunteers are required to attend a volunteer training on either September 8 or 9 and successfully complete a background check.
Volunteers receive a Mini Maker Faire t-shirt.
